Miami Beach Cultural Arts Events: January 17 – 24, 2018
The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity
Date: Thursday, January 25 at 8:00 PM
Location: The Colony Theatre (1040 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL 33139)
A body-slamming satire about race, stereotypes, and the battle for the American soul, The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity turns the fight for success in the world of pro-wrestling into a rollicking parable of political manipulation. Kristoffer Diaz’s Obie Award winning 2009 drama, a Pulitzer Prize finalist that has played major stages across the country, is tailor-made for the era of politics-as-reality-show.
